Assignment:
Peoples' views on falling in love and what marriage looks like, have changed with each cohort. Many young adults today are postponing marriage and even have turned towards focusing on a career rather than finding love. This is quite different from prior generations. The culture one comes from; life experiences; and a host of other issues can influence what we think and how we feel about love and marriage.
Your goal for this assignment is to develop 10 questions that you can ask someone about love and marriage. Be creative. Ask the questions that you have always wondered about or are at least thinking about now.
1. Then you will need to pretend to conduct an interview with four people (adults) that you would expect to have contrasting views on love and marriage (differences in age, gender, upbringing, experience, and religion might affect attitudes on love and marriage). Ask each person the same questions.
Please Note: Be creative in how you conduct your interview.
2. Once you have collected the responses, formulate your information into a formal paper (i.e., introduction, body, and conclusion). Do not simply list the questions asked and the answers given. The questions and the answers need to be woven into your paper, in paragraph form, in a manner that is interesting to the reader. In other words, tell a story about your findings.
3. Reflect on your findings and discuss the cultural, social, economic and historical contexts that may have impacted the responses that you got. Please include, as a separate document, the questions that were developed.
Also, cite any sources used in APA format.
