Scenario: I was recently hired as the director of a clinical research center that is investigating new drugs for several different diseases that impact various demographic populations more than others. You have inherited a set of challenges that you want to address right away, and the first step in doing that is to communicate your values to your employees.

Consider the following challenges affecting the staff at the clinical resource center:

• Employee morale is low.
• Employees exhibit an indifferent or disrespectful attitude toward research participants.
• Employees are reluctant to learn cultural values of research participants.
• There is a language barrier between the all-English-speaking employees and the target audience for the research studies.

I have to build a presentation of 5- to 7-slide presentation directed to your employees clarifying your values (your beliefs, standards, ethics, and ideals) and what your employees can expect from you going forward.
