TYPES OF DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION QUESTION
Question - Clayton Christensen and Govindarajan have studied patterns of disruption in different markets, which can challenge or threaten industry leaders with new strategic dilemmas. Discuss Christensen's theory of "disruptive innovation", OR Govindarajan's theory of "reverse innovation" in specific examples of industries (e.g. disk drives, automobiles), or in institutions (education, health care). How does Clay Christensen, or VG, suggest managers manage or respond to potential disruptive or reverse innovation in their markets?
