Recall from lecture the two facts" we discussed: One, no product exists at a vacuum; and two relationships among products change over time.

Recall the background factors of demand: consumer preferences/ Wants; consumer income demographics of consumers; the prices of substitute and complement and expectations of future product price and future consumer income.

The Required Assignment

• Pick a product; then pick a specific brand name.
• Discuss specific changes in the market background factors of demand in the last five years (2011-2016) for this product.
• Discuss how the brand maker responded to these market changes in these background factors.

Note you do not need to address all of the background factors of demand- but address as many as possible.
