Discuss the problem posed in Prob. 8.5 by using the circuit model of the motor.
Prob. 8.5:
A synchronous motor is drawing power from a large system (assumed infinite) with its field current adjusted so that the armature current has unity power factor. Assume the armature resistance and leakage reactance to be negligible. With the load torque remaining constant, the field current of the motor is raised by 10%.Discuss by means of mmf phasor diagrams the changes that occur in the power output, magnitude and phase angle of the armature current and torque angle.
If, instead of the field current, the load torque is increased by 10%, what changes will occur?
Draw the flowchart of a program controlling the supply valve to a water tank. The valve should be energized when the water level falls to 1.0 m and should be de-energized when the water level rises to 1.5 m.

Use the RTL design process to design a system that outputs the average of the most recent two data input samples. The system has an 8 bit unsigned data input I and an 8 bit unsigned output. The data input is sampled when a single bit input S change..
Write a loop to count the number of 1's in the array. If there is an even number of 1's in the array then the OddParity variable will be set. Create a bit-array of 10 elements with appropriate values, and create variables for Sum and OddParity.
For the feedback voltage amplifier let the op amp have an infinite input resistance, a zero output resistance, and a finite open-loop gain A = 10^4 V/V. If R1 = 1 kOhms, find the value of R2 that results in a closed-loop gain of 100 V/V.
Investigate the effect of varying this ratio on thetransfer characteristics of the CMOS inverter in Fonstad, by sketching the characteristics forKN=50uA/V2 with KP = 50, 100, 250and 500uA/V2. In your sketch do accurate plots inregions I,
