Aristotle divides the virtues into the moral virtues and intellectual virtues.

There are five intellectual virtues: wisdom (sophia), understanding (nous) scientific knowledge (episteme) skill (techne) and prudence (phronesis)

Aristotle says that one difference between phronesis and sophia, is that one requires experience and the other does not. Since phronesis is required for the exercise of any moral virtue, it seems that nobody can be virtuous without experience.

Do you agree with Aristotle that experience is required for virtue? Could someone be inexperienced but virtuous? Keep in mind that "virtue" for Aristotle doesn't just mean moral goodness, but moral excellence.
