Example scene:
Radha: 4 year old. As a toddler, Radha struggled to express herself verbally. Although she was able to understand (receptive language) others, her use words and phrases to express ideas was difficult to understand. This impacted Radha's ability to communicate her needs & wants with her family & the educators. It also impacted her ability to participate in group time activities & build relationships with her peers. Radha was 3 & half years of age when she got diagnosed with a speech delay & has since been attending speech therapy.
