Case: Advise as to teaching in a pre-licensure program and asked by the Assistant Dean of the college of nursing to create a learning activity for the level two students who are taking their first adult health/medical surgical course. The topic of the activity is IV insertion and will take place in the classroom. This is normally an activity the students complete in the lab or simulation center but because the students are struggling the assistant dean would like to include the classroom time.

Discuss an innovative strategy you would use as the didactic instructor to help the students learn IV insertion in the classroom. You may discuss any innovative strategy you wish other than a PowerPoint presentation.
