Remote working is one of the noticeable changes triggered by the Covid pandemic. Many companies have pushed their employees to work from home. It is one way to ensure their employees' wellbeing.
Ntec-Ad is an advertising company that designs advertisements in various media platforms. The pandemic outbreak and lockdown caught the directors of Ntec-Ad unprepared. They asked their employees to work from home two days a week, and come to the office the other three days.
But working from home had its own challenges, such as infrastructure, resources, technology, etc, for the employees and the organization. Some employees lack the skills to manage working from home. Employees were facing many issues related to the availability of technology and other necessary tools including planning. Some were reluctant to work from home and were unable to adapt to this change.
