Based on the available information provided to you, lab work and lab reports, answer the following questions.

1) Potentially harmful chemicals are introduced into our environment every day. Some of these chemicals contaminate our soil and groundwater. Discuss the sources responsible for the release of these chemicals. Also identify any specific chemical(s) you know and how they are produced and release in the environment.

Then discuss methods to prevent or clean any significant environmental contamination.

2) Ethyl alcohol is a socially acceptable addictive and life threatening drug. Discuss alcohol metabolism and its effect, as well as, any difference of its metabolism. Furthermore discuss any possible model organism that can allow studies on alcohol effect in leaving systems. Give a complete description of the model, and how it works. As a Toxicologist what information can you obtain from this model?
