Some scholars consider advertising to be the maker of meaning in our culture, holding us together (see for example Calfee, 1998 below). In contrast, others feel advertising is destroying society (such as Löwy, 2010, below). What do you think? Pick at least THREE specific examples to help illustrate your point drawing on both historical and modern examples.
- An introduction that establishes your topic.
- A strong thesis that identifies specifically what you are going to prove.
