In this module, we considered a number of external performance reporting systems like HEDIS, OASIS, CAHPS surveys and Nursing Home Compare.

The criteria/measures were designed and carefully formulated so that all healthcare organizations would report data in the same way to government and other agencies and be able to compare data.

Compare both advantages and disadvantages of using a facility's own criteria/measures against using criteria/measures from an outside agency or outside benchmark.
