Prison and Asylum Reform in the 19th century is intriguing such that the brutal and arbitrary treatment was very common, and can still be seen in these facilities in today's society. Exploring this reform is interesting since it marks some of the first steps away from barbaric imprisonment and treatment. I am hoping to learn more of a topic that I have not written of or researched before.
