Assignment:
During this module, you have learned about the developmental stages of middle childhood and adolescence. Middle childhood and adolescence are particularly important stages in an individual's development, due to what Erikson refers to as the psychosocial crisis. Now that you have completed the module readings and reviewed the lecture materials, it is time to demonstrate what you have learned. Choose either middle childhood or adolescence and present a client system from your field or other experience where you could have applied the knowledge you acquired in this module to either engage or develop an intervention appropriate for the cognitive and emotional development of the individual.
Be sure to discuss the traits and characteristics of the life stage, how it informs treatment, important environmental and biopsychosocial spiritual factors that contribute to your understanding of the client system. Discussion Prompt Choose a scholarly article that was not assigned to you for this module that addresses one of the two developmental stages discussed. Embed a link to the article for your classmates and send the article link to your professor.
