Question: If looking at counseling approaches as an example, I often use a psychoeducational approach with some clients and have to be cognizant of the fact that this approach works better with some than others. When I work with a psycho-educational group, in order to effectively educate the group and reach them all, I need to incorporate visual materials like charts, slides, as well as readings and discussions. Most people are comfortable with a combination of styles and few are solely visual or verbal. It also depends on the topic being learned.

Do you have a preference for which topics you greatly prefer to learn visually versus verbally?
