Assignment:
One of the subjects I read was "Promoting Excellence in Long Term Care," it is crucial that we retain the cost of living and a live-able cost since the elderly need to be able to afford the basics for a healthy life as well as their medications, comfort, and a comfortable lifestyle.
We must work to prevent acute medical and unavoidable sickness, recognize it when it does, and treat it quickly, as well as stabilize chronic medical disorders and, whenever possible, stop their progression.
Additionally, establish a setting that seems like home while upholding each patient's dignity.
If an older patient doesn't have family members who can help with care after they leave the hospital, there are places where we can refer them to. In these specialized nursing facilities Dietitians, social workers, prosthetists, orthotists, doctors, and nurses are present in homes to help patients with daily requirements and medical care. I was able to learn more about geriatric illnesses and cardiovascular changes after taking the dynamic quiz. It is crucial that elderly people receive the appropriate medical care and physical therapy they require to prevent the onset of any diseases they are at risk for, or may currently have.
