This course is about health IT, and this week's topic is not directly related to it. I want to bring your attention to a different aspect of healthcare. Technology is for people, and creates value only when considers factors related to people and processes. Healthcare is a unique business in the sense that "people" are at the core.

Please watch the video about empathy in the below link and share your reflections on "empathy" and discuss questions like, how should you design systems or your processes around technology to maintain empathy. How should a healthcare organization establish its mission or vision to capture this dimension of healthcare? How do you tie those to IT strategy to organizations.
