In some of my sections a year ago, students discussed whether a woman should have the right to obtain an abortion. Three of my students told me, privately, that they oppose abortion. In my class you all have freedom of speech, so long as you are not nasty to your classmates or try to frighten them. Help to express your views on abortion and some of the reasons for them. If you are not sure of what position to take, that is all the more reason to write about it. Remember, all of you, to respond with courtesy to posts with which you disagree. In class, ask me to identify the first step of persuasion.
