But social media also includes professional and work-related platforms, such as LinkedIn and chat tools, such as Microsoft Teams. The definition of social media continues to evolve, and social media sites and platforms seek to connect people and build networks around shared content and interests.

Whether or not you personally use social media, you've likely been affected in some way by its presence in your family, community, or workplace.

Respond to the following in a minimum of 250 words:
