Holidays in Judaism are mostly connected to the Torah in some way. As there are some general food rules (kosher) in Judaism, on some holidays there are certain foods that are used to celebrate in a particular way. Food celebrations were important in Jewish history especially because at times it was difficult for this community to practice their religion openly. This is why we will consider food for this assignment.

2) Pick a holiday. Many holidays have special foods associated with them. Find a recipe for a special holiday food. Again, many more food sites out there that will talk about recipes for Hanukah(Chanukah), etc. If you use one, just credit your source.
