During this course we will discuss a lot about correctional leadership. This will include budget, staff development, inmate rehabilitation and reentry, and community relations to name a few. However, none of that is as important as maintaining security and order in your facility. Your primary function is the protection of the public. Considering the readings for this week and other research you may do, discuss the importance that is placed on security and order.
