Title VII prohibits discriminatory hiring whether intentional or unintentional. In order to correct an imbalance in their workforce, a company may adopt a policy of preferential hiring. Likewise, if there is a disproportionate number of students from the protected classes, they may do the same. Discuss the impact of June 2016 Supreme Court decision to uphold the admission practices of the University of Texas and the adverse affects for non-protected groups. Please state your opinion of this case.
