A sinusoidal wave travels in the positive x direction with amplitude of 15.0 cm, a wavelength of 40.0 cm and a frequency of 8 Hz. The vertical displacement at x= 0 when t= 0 is 15.0 cm.

a) Discover the period, the angular frequency and the speed of the wave.

b) Draw a well-labelled diagram of a wave that is the same as that explained in part (a) EXCEPT that the wavelength is reduced by half. Draw only the section between x= 0 and x= 40 cm
