Discover the basic concepts of digital electronics and its applications by building up a Video Switcher circuit using various digital components. All information from lecture notes, tutorials and labs can be used for this assignment.

Description:

This assignment is to design a digital video switcher, which should be able to switch between four different cameras using manual and automatic switching.

Students are to design the video switcher using MAX455CPP IC. The circuit should be able to switch between four different cameras automatically. If there is a fault in automatic switching then the video multiplexer should also operate manually. Additionally, the camera number (1-4) should be displayed on the seven-segment display. The circuit can be demonstrated on Veroboard or Breadboard.
