A 67 year old female with a PMH of MI, a-fib, osteoporosis, hyperthroidism, and type 2 DM presents to the ED after falling down the stairs. She states that she felt dizzy ater forgetting to take her insulin shot this morning, slipped down the stairs, and fell on her left side. She is not able to walk and was carried by her grandson to the hospital. Physical exam reveals tenderness over her left hip when palpated and when turning the left leg outward. There is stiffness, bruising, and discoloration around the hip area. What is the most likely diagnosis?
