Assignment - Leadership Style and Change Advocacy Statement Discussion
Discussion - An introduction of yourself and a statement describing your personal leadership style. A change advocacy statement along with the rationale. And a conclusion about how your leadership style can facilitate change advocacy.
Due to a staffing shortfall in the senior care department of the government hospital, some individuals go neglected, which lowers positive patient outcomes since these clients must repeatedly return to the community hospital to receive healthcare services, which is a very tough chore for an older adult. The senior department's reduced nursing workforce is resulting in a decline in patient satisfaction; to address this, some caregivers with Masters degrees in healthcare (elderly population care) must be hired. In this case, it is essential to discuss the problem of declining patient satisfaction.
In order to create the need for change and establish the anthropogenic climate perspective, Kotter's change model would be used. The treatment provided to elderly individuals will be of a higher caliber. This strategy begins by generating the need for change and concludes by sustaining or stabilizing the already implemented transformation (Wentworth et al., 2020). The above-proposed change can be implemented in this prototype by characterizing the immediacy of the transformation as the person enters without first being attended by the medical professional
Strategic leadership is the approach needed to put the change into action. This approach describes how to approach the problem using Kotter's change model and will ensure that each patient receives high-quality care. The strategic leadership explains the steps involved in resolving the problem using Kotter's change model. A plan will be created to highlight the need and sense of direction for transformation, further attempting to justify hiring registered nurse applicants. This process will also help people receive high-quality care because adequate staffing levels will guarantee that each patient receives an equal amount of attention.

Next for Part II, a concise written summary will be included which addresses these elements, as well. The paper should be no more than two pages in length and should include two scholarly sources which are peer-reviewed and current within five years.
