Imagine that you are a manager in charge of two new staff. Although you have only known them briefly, you noticed that they reliably exhibit a certain mindset.

Sarah is exceptionally achievement-oriented. She wants to find a career that helps her fulfil her ideals and aspiration. She comes across as a go-getter who takes any opportunistic risks it takes to achieve success.

Tom wants to maintain a steady pace in life. He is hardworking because he is frequently worried about losing his job. He does not think his career is his priority but pursues it as a responsibility toward his wife and kids.

Recently, vacancies have opened up in the Quality Audit team and the Business Innovation team. You are looking to see which staff is more suitable for each group.

Because that project was very costly to the team, her direct supervisor is considering not passing her probation, which will cause her to lose her job. Nevertheless, you still believe that the failed project was an exception and would like to give her a chance.
