1. Describe Hunger in various ways and recognize what Hunger is asking for

2. Differentiate between Hunger, Thirst, and Fullness

Purpose:

The body sends messages to tell us when to eat and not to eat. These are called satiety signals. There is a great need for patience and practice when learning about Hunger, fullness, and satiety. It can take weeks or months to notice these sensations, especially in times of stress reliably.

Criteria:

Part 1:

Describe Hunger in various ways and discuss what it may be telling us. Then, differentiate between Hunger, Thirst, and Fullness and their relationship.

Part 2:

Daily mindfulness practice - 5-minute mindful walking, with audio guidance (see 5 simple steps below for the mindful walking audio track. Or a mindful strategy of choice. Practice mindfulness 5- 6 days a week.
