Learning Outcomes

This assignment will assess the following learning outcomes:

1. Develop knowledge of, analyse and critically assess the literature in a given business related subject area.

2. In conjunction with a supervisor/adviser, formulate research questions or objectives in the given subject area.

3. Construct an argument employing relevant and valid evidence in support of a conclusion that directly addresses the problem posed by the research questions or objectives.

4. Demonstrate competence in independent learning.

5. Demonstrate competence in the communication skills needed to generate the required format of written presentation.

The Task:

This is an individual Assignment (85%) and Progress Report (15%).

1. You are required to work on approved SMART topic in your area of specialisation and critically analyse the literatures related to the topic and the objectives of your study. Formulate the research questions or the research objectives of your chosen topic in your area of specialisation upon consultation and approval by your advisor-supervisor. Make your arguments on the literatures presented that are related to your topic and objectives or that directly answer the research questions. Literatures must be properly cited to make your study credible. Draw the conclusion that directly addresses the problem posed by the research questions or objectives. Use Harvard Style of referencing. Use separate sheet/s for the list of recent edition of references. This Assignment component is weighted 85% of the total mark.

2. Prepare a detailed Progress Report in each stage of the study that clearly describe the activities, processes, and procedures that were undertaken while doing your Assignment with reference to the standard format. This Progress Report is weighted 15% of the total mark.

And we have to have 20 Harvard referencing you will find what you need in the first attachment. 2- The 2nd attachment it's progress report of 500 words and it has to be like the format in the attachment.

Guidelines

Assignment : (1800-2200 words)

I. Introduction
- Comprehensive, relevant, and coherent concepts relating to the topic with appropriate in-text citations of the sources of data and information using Harvard Referencing System. [In two (2) paragraphs]
- Clearly stated Objective/s or Statement of the Problem [In one (1) paragraph]
- 225-275 words

II. Literature Review
- Logical organisation of literatures and materials relating and directly addressing the topic, problem, or objectives of the study with evidence of a wide range of appropriate readings in the selected subject area.
- Proper in-text citations of the sources of literatures presented
- Relevant analysis and interpretations of the cited literatures with a clear link to the current study. Use graphics, tables, charts to substantiate discussion
- Valid, clear, and relevant arguments of the cited literatures
- 1350 -1650 words

III. Conclusion
- Highlight the key concepts presented in the introduction and literature review
- Reflect on how the problems, and objectives have been addressed in the study   
- Leave 5 line spaces after the last line of the conclusion and write: Total Number of Words:
- 225-275 words

IV. References
- In separate page/s after the conclusion
- References must be of recent editions - 2005 editions to current editions (not older than 2005 editions)
- Observe Harvard Style
- Categorize the references as shown below and alphabetically arranged in each category.
o Books
o Journals
o Magazines
o Newspaper
o Websites

V. Format

a. Cover Page
- Name of Module and Module Code
- Title of the Project Assignment
- Name of Student and ID Number
- Semester and Academic Year

b. Font and Font Size
- Times New Roman font
o Title and Headings - size 13, Bold face
o Text size 12, normal font face

c. Alignment
- Justify on both sides
- Leave a space in between paragraphs
- Use 1.0" margins on all sides

d. Similarity
- Observe 2% - 10% similarity index

e. Language Proficiency
- Be careful with grammar, spelling, spaces, and use of punctuations

f. Submission/Uploading
- Upload the Assignment and Progress Report separately in the Project Link in Turnitin
- Upload Word File only in Turnitin

g. Reminder
