ECE120L INTRODUCTION TO MATLAB
1. Look for application(s) of MATLAB in your program which utilizes most of the features covered by the course.
2. The output will be graded based on the following components:
Mastery
|
10%
|
Program Maximization
|
30%
|
Ease of Use
|
10%
|
Documentation
|
40%
|
Punctuality/Promptness
|
10%
|
3. Mastery
The designed tool as applied in the program related to the group members accomplishes the desired objective while making the best use of the software.
Program Maximization
The application covers the use of all concepts covered in course as listed below:
• Basic Commands and Functions
• Matrices
• Different Types of Equations and Polynomials
• Graphing 2D Plots
• Graphing 3D Plots
• Higher Mathematical Operations
It is understood that not all of these topics will be covered by just a single application relevant to your program. In order to satisfy this component, the group may opt to demonstrate more than one application in order to cover most, or all, of these.
Ease of Use
The interface of the designed tool must be easily understood by the end user of the program, even if the end user has minimal knowledge in MATLAB programming. Ideally, the designed tool must meet its objective with minimum inputs from the user.
