There are 5 experiments that are discussed in this article. This was a very interesting read and a lot about how we work individually and together. The first experiment I found intriguing. It talks about the similarities of men and women and how they feel about monogamy. I think men and women all want the same thing and that's to be happy with someone that understands them. The second theory was simple. It talked about men and women striving for a romantic relationship but that contradicts the psychology of mating. The third was crazy to me. It talked about how we as individuals view the opposing sex. Men believe that women have a variety of 9 lovers or sexual mates over their lifetime and women believe that men have a variety of around 25 sexual relationships because in some cases, men are more promiscuous. Men also did get a very high observation when it came to life-long partner seeking. The fourth wasn't surprising to me a bit. It showed that men scored higher to consenting to sex faster than a woman No shocker). The last study showed that women scored higher because they took longer for long term relationships and men scored lower. I think that if they did this study, it could be different results because today men and women take a lot longer for relationships because they put their career and schooling first.
