Assume that you were given $10,000 by a family member on a special occasion. You are now seriously considering investing your money in at least three different publicly traded companies by purchasing their stocks.

1) Please research on the internet and identify at least 3 companies where you wish to invest your money. Specify what amount you wish to invest in each company and your reasons for doing so.   

2) There are a number of exchanges in which stocks trade, such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NASDAQ, the American Stock Exchange, etc. In which exchange does your company trade? What is the website or source of your information? List the source name name(s) or URLs here.                                                                           

3) For each of the companies you have chosen, provide the following information:                                                                              

-          What are the “Ticker” symbol of the three stocks you have chosen?

-          What industry or sector does each company belong to? (e.g. technology, biomedical, retail)

-          What was the” 52-week High” price and “52-week Low” price for each of these companies.

-          Did this company pay any dividends?

-          What is the yield?

-          What is the P/E Ratio?
