Explain what Adams means when he says, "I live by a code, a code I create." Define habeas appeal and explain the results of Adams' habeas appeal.
PART 4
Assignment 1: Summarize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Letter from Birmingham Jail." Define COINTELPRO and how the program was used to harass and disrupt legitimate political activities. Make an argument for whether COINTELPRO-like tactics are presently being used to disrupt legitimate political groups such as the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Assignment 2: Define organized crime including the continuum model of organized crime. Discuss at least one societal reaction to organized crime. Summarize the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute. Or describe the various types of cybercrime including how you or someone you know has been the target of cybercriminals.

Assignment 1: Summarize Jarrett Adams' experiences after returning home from prison. Explain what Adams means when he says that he "feels stuck between two worlds." Identify one of the lessons learned by Adams while working as an investigator.
