Imagine that you believe that pruning tomato plants makes no difference to how many tomatoes they produce. You get some evidence: an expert gardener on YouTube prunes one tomato plant, but not another, to show how much pruning helps plants produce more tomatoes. How would you use the "consider the opposite" strategy in this case?
