You are the manager of a HR department within a company. Recently, your director gave the approval for a project to replace the existing HR system. This will involve input from all employees in your department, but to varying degrees:

Some of your staff have been assigned on a full-time (but temporary) basis to the Project

The remaining staff are still based in the HR office, however their workloads have increased as a result of personnel moving over to the project. You have also implemented changes to HR policies (such as changes to the timeline for responding to other department’s requests for information) in order to balance the increased demands on individual staff members.

Summarize in your own words the difference between a functional, projectized and matrix organization

Give 3 examples of potential effects on organizational culture and employee morale that may arise from this Project (NOTE: there could be both positive and negative effects. Try and think about ways of taking advantage of the change)
