Many innovative environmental scientists are highlighted throughout our textbook for their unique contributions to improving environmental health or public awareness of environmental problems.
The goal of this project is for you to research one individual who has made a difference in environmental science or conservation and briefly present their life history, contributions, and impact on future generations on a timeline with your classmates.
Together we will createeeeee a timeline of important environmental scientists and activists and their achievements using a collaborative online tool, Padlet. Claim your environmentalist first, research her or him, and then share your findings.
The third exam will feature a short answer question about these important individuals.
Appropriate research tools include our textbook and Wikipedia.
