The U.S. has been called a "death denying" culture. Read the brief article on Thanatophobia and write briefly on your thoughts on the article that applies Psychologist Erik Erikson's theory to this fear, and to what degree you think you or friends/family share this particular fear.

She and her family want to help her aunt but they don't know what to expect (i.e., what is typical grieving) and what to do to best help her. Would you tell your friend anything different if it were her aunt who passed away and her uncle who was the widower?
