The Quran is still the central religious text in Islam in both historic and contemporary Islamic culture (Woodberry, 2008).

Over time, Islam interacted with other cultures and became integrated and adopted across the Muslim communities such as the difference between the celebrations of Eid al-Fitr. In regards to social and political dynamics. early Islamic culture focused on justice and equality but with modernization and new social norms interpretation of Islamic law now varies. The modern era has brought changes in communication, education, and governance which impacts how Islam is practiced and understood.
