Based on the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic translation initiation mechanisms and mRNA features, describe the changes in the 5' sequence of the mouse mRNA given above in Q#2 that are required for the mRNA to be translated efficiently when introduced into the prokaryote Escherichia coli for expression. For this question you should focus on the 5' sequence features that are required for initiation and ignore differences in the codon usage between mice and bacteria. Hint is A minimum of two changes are required and for one change you will need to obtain the most common sequence for the feature using an online search.
