Create your own scenario: Describe a concern with a specific behavior that needs to be changed. Then list an example of how you would go about making that change with 1) positive reinforcement, 2) positive punishment, 3) negative reinforcement, and 4) negative punishment. An example scenario: I have a child that fails to lock the door whenever he leaves the house (concern). I want him to lock the door every time he goes out (behavior to change). I would then use the principles for each of the four techniques to create a way to change that specific behavior. Be sure to correctly match the technique to the example you create.
