A classic example of acting unethically is Lehman or Enron's case. After their downfall, one would think employees would act ethically and companies would focus on promoting ethical practices in the workplace. Unfortunately, more and more companies are receiving media attention, not for their good deeds, but for their unethical and illegal practices. Let us take for example Martha Stewart who was indicted on investments and found guilty. She served her time in jail. Yet, there are some leaders who have never been indicted and or have been found guilty of unethical practices.
