The difference between a hard and soft strategy is that hard strategies are well defined with a vision, clear structured decision making (chain of command) and defined responsibly for each position. A soft strategy is defined on more of a less conservative mindset where everyone has a voice, and creative thinking and employee have the ability to put into play what they feel. The strategies are based on a company's vision statement and overall goal.
