Fatimah was a 58-year-old living in the ABC community. She has one married daughter and two sons in college and she is a teacher in high school. One year ago, she was diagnosed with 4th stag cervical cancer and started to receive care from a community-based palliative care center. She wants to function independently, showing enjoyment in spending time with her family and friends, and watching TV with them.

Her daughter is pregnant and recently involved in a car accident with internal bleeding. The physician ordered a blood transfusion. Yet, the daughter refused to accept blood because she has a fear of blood transfusion due to her belief in Bible scripture.
