The significance of agroterrorism as a broader subset of biological terrorism is big because the threat to national security an attack of catastrophic magnitude can cause can lead to chaos in town and cities across America. With this being a threat that most American don't think about due to the trust in the food industry. It can be a weakness as well because terrorist organization can also use this to their advantage.

In my opinion the most likely place you would see this type of attack occur would be in the processing or packaging stage. This would be hard but getting the right people in the important places can mean the difference between a safe food and contaminated food. Here in America for example we have multiple food and product recall a day due to contamination in the process of the products which can lead to people becoming sick. The attack could occur somewhere else but there are chances that contamination would be detected, or the contaminated agent is cleaned away.

Due to the increased economic crisis that we face presently in the United States we have to become mindful of the food products that we continue to produce and the economic impact that they bring to the people that produce them.
