Part 1: 24-Hour Diet and Activity Recall Conduct a nutrition interview with a person of your choice. Have the person recall all of the foods and beverages consumed, supplements consumed, and physical activities for the previous day and night (24 hours). Record the client's responses on the form supplied. This will be easiest by just inputting the responses into the Word document/form provided. You will probably have to add to the rows in the table that you will be recording the daily consumption in. Just copy and paste blank rows into the table. You will have to ask for personal data, like age, height and weight, from the person you are interviewing. Do not include the person's name on any of the documents, just his or her initials. You may want to print and use the estimates of portion size provided to assist the client in approximating how much food was consumed. Following the interview and collection of the data, you will conduct an assessment of the person's habitual physical activity. You will evaluate their level of activity as sedentary, lightly active, moderately active, very active, or extremely active. Then you will equate the person's activity as duration of moderate.
