Students are to visit the Utah State Legislative Website, pick one health related bill of interest to follow throughout the legislative session (The session begins on January 25th and goes through March 10th). Students will be required to check in on that bill each week and fill out the bill tracker form (located on CIS) about the status of the bill. After the completion of the legislative session, students will write up a description of no more than 2 pages about the bill, what their personal position was on the bill, and the status of the bill by the end of the session. Some of you may find that your bill dies early or never really gets a fair hearing. What does that teach you about the legislative process?
