The tennis club wants a database to include following information. They describe the key elements of their requirements in the following points:

  • Members have a unique member ID, and have a name, address and phone number
  • Some members are VIP with a discount amount recorded
  • The club has several courts. Each court has a unique courtNo, and has dimensions, a surface type (eg clay, grass, asphalt etc) and a venue type (indoor/outdoor)
  • The club has several in house coaches, each with an empNo and name. Coaches can have several specialities(eg backhand, ground stoke, serve etc), with a certain number of year of experience for each speciality
  • Members can make bookings for any of the club's tennis courts (and do not necessarily have a coach present, though they can still have a coach present during the booking if they choose)
  • Each booking is for a specific date and time, duration and fee
