The client is a 31-year-old male diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and bipolar disorder. Endorsing: depressed, low energy, low motivation, anhedonia (difficulty getting out of bed), withdrawn, "distracted a lot."
His symptoms began around 2 weeks ago. Before that, it was in a mixed state. Current Home Psychiatric Medications:
Venlafaxine 75mg PO daily for mood
Quetiapine 200mg PO daily for mood
Lamotrigine 300mg PO daily for mood
Ativan 0.5mg PO daily as needed for anxiety
Past Psych Medications: Sertraline, Prozac. SSRIs cause manic symptoms.
