Sally is now 75 years old with diabetes. She was also recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis and reports to her Dr. that she is having increased pain. The Dr. starts Sally on Glucosamine Chondroitin. Prior to starting this dietary supplement Sally had a Hemoglobin A1C of 6.2 but 6 months after starting the Glucosamine, her Hemoglobin A1C rose to 10.2. You are concerned about this change in Sally's glucose control. All but one of those listed below could have caused Sally's blood sugar to rise. Which one may not have caused her blood sugar to rise?
