The project deals with the development of a multi-platform supportive system named MapleDeli for MapleDeli Services LLC. It intends to acts as an overall ecosystem in binding all the entities of delivery. The major component of MapleDeli is a user-friendly application that can be accessed from web as well as mobile devices. The End-user will be using the application to get food, documents, courier, makeup products, and electronics delivered in their preferred location. The system will also comprise of a mobile application intended for delivery professionals. The delivery professionals will use the application to be updated about the delivery location, product details, customer details, and payment confirmation. They can also view their earning commission, tips, and feedback from the application. The system will include various vendors that the end-user can choose from. The application also incorporates cash-less payment to make the payment process convenient and minimize physical contact during pandemic. 

The project will progress incrementally. Initially a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) will be provided to a limited group of end users. The MVP will consist of limited vendors and limited payment methods. Based on the feedback and user input the product will be upgraded incrementally. The data received from the MVP will be presented to attract more vendors into the platform. Initially, the system will be operational within Canada only, however the organization is optimistic for a global expansion within a year. 

Objectives 

Provide a common interface for customers to order products and get it delivered in their desired location. 

Provide a profile page for individual vendors to display their products. 

Provide earning opportunity to full-time, contract based, and freelance delivery professionals. 

Ease and speed up the delivery service to the end customers. 

Provide cash-less and contact-less delivery option amides the pandemic.  

Provide real-time tracking through GPS and Google Maps integration. 

Generate revenue from product listing, advertisement, and sales commission. 

Receive direct feedback from customer, vendors, and delivery professionals regarding the system.
